We are seeking a talented Service Now Developer to join our team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in Service Now development to build and maintain custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the Service Now platform. You will also play a key role in enhancing and automating request fulfillment workflows, integrating Service Now with network management systems, ensuring seamless workflows across various business processes.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in a dynamic and growing organization. As a Service Now developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and technical requirements. Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and enhance request fulfillment workflows to streamline and automate the lifecycle of service requests.

* Work closely with business users to define and implement efficient request fulfillment processes, ensuring smooth and effective service delivery.

* Integrate Service Now with network management systems (e.g., Riverbed, Solar Winds, Network Node Manager), ensuring real-time data flow and automated incident responses.

* Automate and manage CMDB (Configuration Management Database) processes, including the discovery, import, and maintenance of configuration items (CIs) and their relationships.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations between Service Now, network management systems, and the CMDB.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for custom applications, integrations, and workflows that optimize network management, service requests, and configuration data.

* Create and optimize integrations between Service Now and various Network Management Systems

* Develop scripts and workflows to automate network management tasks within Service Now

* Develop and maintain documentation for Service Now applications and integrations

* Participate in Service Now upgrades and ensure compatibility with NMS integrations

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

* Stay current with Service Now platform updates and new features relevant to NMS

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Technical field or equivalent work experience

* 10+ years of related work experience

* TS/SCI with Poly required

* Service Now certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer)

* Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Angular

JS, and web services (REST, SOAP)

* Experience with Service Now modules including CMDB, ITSM, and Discovery

* Experience in developing custom applications and integrations in Service Now

* Knowledge of database design and management within Service Now

* Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills

* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

* Experience with Agile development methodologies Desired:
* Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM

* Experience with other ITSM platforms and NMS tools

* Familiarity with network protocols, technologies, and common NMS platforms

* Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices

* Familiarity with scripting languages commonly used in network automation (e.g., Python, NodeJS, Perl)

* Experience with performance analytics and reporting in Service Now This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
