Responsibilities:
* Configure, maintain, troubleshoot and fix issues of the data network and telephony systems (ISDN,VoIP, VoSIP, Teleconferencing Devices etc.), and associated technologies in conformity with DoD processes and standards.
* Exceptional customer service and support skills in a high visibility environment.
* Fundamental knowledge of the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/IP protocol suite and must be well-versed with the MAC and IP addresses.
* Demonstrated problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to monitor the performance and health of voice network infrastructure, and resolve issues.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve voice network-related incidents.
* Support the design, implementation, and optimization of voice network solutions.
* Provide support to network architects and engineers to develop and implement voice network enhancements.
* Configure and manage voice protocols.
* Prioritize voice traffic and ensure high-quality voice communication. Required Experience :
* 3+ years of related Voice Technician experience
* 3+ years of related IT/telecommunications experience working within the DOD environment Education :
* Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience Certifications :
* One or more active network certifications OR related Telephony Certifications from Avaya, Nortel, AT&T, etc. Clearance :
