Client Services SupervisorAt Pro Sport Accountants, a division of Carr, Riggs & Ingram, we specialize in providing tailored tax and accounting services for professional athletes and entertainers, both within the US and overseas. - Supervise and mentor Client Services Specialists, ensuring high performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Oversee the gathering, reviewing, and organizing client tax information for return preparation.
- Ensure timely scanning and electronic filing of client documents.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client and firm information.
- Monitor and improve internal workflows and client service processes using spreadsheets and firm systems.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client communications regarding tax matters, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Coordinate with tax preparers and partners to ensure smooth client onboarding and document flow.
- Manage team assignments and project timelines to meet seasonal and year‑round deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices across the Client Services team.
- Assist with hiring, training, and development of new Client Services staff.
- Other duties as assigned to support firm operations and client satisfaction.
- High School diploma required; bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- 3‑4+ years of experience in client services, administrative support, or tax operations.
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in a CPA firm or professional services environment is a plus.
- Ability to work overtime January through April and during other peak seasons.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; able to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
