Operations Manager
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead daily operations within our service department. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, developing the service team, overseeing warranty and mobile service operations, and delivering a consistently high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, dealership experience, and a hands‑on approach to managing people and processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of service department operations, including scheduling, workflow, customer experience, and technician productivity
Oversee warranty administration to ensure compliance, accuracy, and maximum recovery
Lead and support the Mobile Service Team to ensure effective off‑site service execution
Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate service advisors and technicians
Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution
Track and manage departmental performance, including labor efficiency, expenses, and profitability
Work closely with Parts, Sales, Office, and Body Shop teams to support overall dealership performance
Enforce safety standards, manufacturer requirements, and dealership policies
Maintain accurate service records, reporting, and customer communication
Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure operational and financial goals are met
Foster a culture focused on accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Mentor team members to support growth, training, and long‑term retention
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
Previous experience as a Service Manager or in a senior dealership service role
Proven success managing service operations in an automotive dealership environment
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
Proficiency with dealership systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Auto Mate, Xtime, and GuestXP
Solid understanding of automotive service processes, diagnostics, and warranty administration
Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
