A well-established Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a skilled BAS Controls Specialist (Mid & Senior Level) in Ashburn, VA. This role focuses on commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing advanced BAS systems for mission-critical and commercial facilities. • Commission, test, and troubleshoot BAS controllers, including Tr/Niagara systems.
• Refine, rewrite, and optimize sequences of operation to improve system efficiency.
• Service and support both proprietary and open building automation platforms.
• Perform point‑to‑point device checkout, system verification, and functional testing.
• Integrate multiple protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP.
• Install and configure DDC controllers, sensors, relays, and control panels.
• Fabricate, assemble, and wire low‑voltage control cabinets.
• Accurately terminate and label low‑voltage cabling.
• Calibrate actuators, temperature sensors, and field devices for reliable performance.
  
  Commission systems and maintain thorough daily test documentation.

• Hands‑on experience as a BAS Technician, Specialist, or equivalent position.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, field commissioning, and system diagnostics.
• Familiarity with various BAS platforms;
  Tridium Niagara experience is a plus
  .
• Ability to work independently or within a cross‑disciplinary project team.
• Strong communication, technical aptitude, and problem‑solving abilities.
