Manufacturing ​/ Production Operator

Overview

Operator role n to apply for the Operator role at Evonik.

• Operate complex processes, adjusting diverse variables to achieve quality and productivity; generate solutions to simple and recurring inefficiencies.
• Carry out operational tasks by following established processes; adjust multiple settings or parameters to meet performance standards.
• Carry out standard installation activities under detailed guidance; troubleshoot basic technical or operational problems using defined solutions.
• Carry out standard maintenance and repair activities under detailed guidance; troubleshoot basic technical or operational problems using defined solutions.
• Perform relatively simple testing and quality assurance tasks.
• Follow mandatory procedures and methods of work (including use of personal protective equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.

• Secondary / Intermediate + (5 GCSE)
• Experience with straightforward procedures or systems
• Clear and effective verbal communication skills; ability to provide technical guidance when required
• Ability to manage and apply safe systems of work with minimal supervision
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to meet business objectives with guidance
• Ability to develop, monitor, interpret and understand policies and procedures, aligning with organizational strategies
• Ability to develop appropriate plans or actions based on recommendations and requirements
• Ability to create clear, relevant reports with guidance
• Risk identification, assessment, prioritization, and management in a production process with guidance
