JOB SUMMARY and KEY OBJECTIVES:Performs repetitive work station or line assembly operations and assembles units to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:- Ensures any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Operates press brake to assemble sheets.
- Operates automatic fastener machine to secure lining to side walls.
- Operates index machine.
- Performs carpenter related work.
- Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes.
- Installs lights and wiring.
- Operates fork lift as required.
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
- Performs related duties as needed by supervision.
- High school education, and up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to do heavy lifting
- Ability to climb a ladder
- Full range of physical motion throughout the torso
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time with periodic break periods
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment mechanical devices
