Loader Operator

Our Amissville, VA is adding a Front End Loader operator to their team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our team as a first shift wheel loader operator. The position's primary responsibilities include operating a wheel loader/front loader tasked with moving various materials such as logs, cants, packs of lumber and loading chips/dust/bark into open‑top trailers.

• Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Keep up with sawmill operations and process flow by loading/unloading material on decks
• Ability to work independently
• Assist shipping dept as needed for various duties
• Capable of working efficiently/safely as well as keeping a high level of precision

• Previous experience as an equipment operator using a wheel loader or similar machine
• Must be self‑motivated and organized
• Willingness to work in an outside environment and work overtime
