Quality Manager – INDEVCO Packaging Solutions
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager responsible for all quality aspects related to producing orders to customer specifications. The role works with production to improve efficiencies and product performance, ensures testing is accurate and timely, collaborates with R&D for product development, implements ISO procedures, maintains the quality manual, manages lab scheduling and staffing, and drives process efficiency in a safe and cost‑efficient manner.
Responsibilities- Ensure all testing is performed; hold any products out of spec, including testing raw materials and reviewing COAs from suppliers.
- Manage the lab facility: order supplies, maintain equipment and calibration records, interview/training technician staff, provide technical support for hardware and software, and schedule work.
- Ensure finished product quality meets internal production specifications and customer specifications.
- Address customer complaints and SCARs, conduct root‑cause analysis, generate CoAs and CoCs.
- Review testing and production logs to ensure all production and quality data is accurate.
- Send COAs to customers for production material where required.
- Maintain the calibration system and records, retaining production data.
- Develop and execute processes to comply with ISO‑9001:2015 standards.
- Understand all products produced in the facility in relation to all technical data and performance on customers’ equipment.
- Keep all material specifications up to date and in order.
- Manage all material placed on hold, ensuring it is quarantined and dispositioned.
- Manage quarantine areas, maintain the hold database, and report daily, weekly, and monthly quality metrics to management.
- Assist with product development process as needed.
- Experience implementing quality management systems compliant with ISO 9001:2015.
- Experience in the building envelope, paper, or plastics industry preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience in a production facility.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Six‑sigma certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with MS Dynamics AX desired.
