Location: Glasgow
Mohawk Industries - : [Production Operator / Machinist] As a Sew On Operator at Mohawk Industries, you'll:
Operate sewing machine and knife and ensure that they are sewn in correctly;
Run carpet in J-box making sure it is running in straight;
Watch J-box to ensure carpet is entering accumulator in proper position;
Watch for torn leader or seams and re-sew them to prevent tear outs;
Inspect carpet as it rolls into the machine to alert supervisor of defects;
Keep J-box and accumulator as full as possible at all times.
