Maintenance Technician

Location: Chesterfield

Job Duties:

- First two weeks Monday through Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM (Training) then 6:00PM-6:00AM 3 days on 3 days off) (NIGHT SHIFT Tech) - Hours rotate from 36 to 48hrs a week.
- Oversee operations of wastewater treatment facility.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wastewater treatment regulations.
- Monitor and adjust physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes.
- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems.
- Monitor the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.
- Record operational trends and plant performance on daily log sheets.
- Adjust process control instrumentation as needed.
- Manage chemical inventory and inspect dosing pumps and storage tanks.
- Ensure proper operation of samplers and collect process monitoring samples.
- Perform field analytical tests on collected samples.
- Transfer sludge by manually operating valves and pumping equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Required Skills & Experience
- Able to work night shift.
- Willing to get wastewater license within 18 months.
- Mechanical experience (ie: works with pipes, valves, machinery, storage tanks).
- Be able to pass background and driving record check (within the past 7 years).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- SCADA experience
- CDL license
