Overview

Responsibilities- Fit out, assemble, and install launch pad electrical systems, including control hardware and RF equipment.
- Build industrial electrical hardware, instrumentation, and control power systems.
- Install harnesses and wiring for extra low voltage systems through 500 V systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues on launch pad and range control systems.
- Develop preventative maintenance and inspection procedures for electrical systems.
- Support launch vehicle, launch pad, and launch operations during integration and checkouts.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of launch electrical systems.
- Ensure health and safety policies and standard operating procedures are followed.
- Travel domestically and for short international training periods as required.
- Support training and development of team members as the team grows.
- Current U.S. passport or ability to obtain one.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in avionics/electrical hardware build, installation, repair, and/or maintenance.
- Top Secret clearance (DOD top secret) and ability to obtain a DOD top secret clearance.
- Current U.S. passport or ability to obtain one.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in avionics/electrical hardware build, installation, repair, and/or maintenance.
- Top Secret clearance (DOD top secret) and ability to obtain a DOD top secret clearance.
- Vision required: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus.
- Must be physically able to sit, use hands and fingers, operate keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must be physically able to commute to buildings.
- Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise.
