The Project Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating capital projects in the manufacturing facility, including packaging, processing, and utility areas of the facility. This position will lead small, medium, and large-scale projects that will deliver business needs using sound project management, knowledge, and tools.

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Project Engineer based in Mt. Crawford, Virginia!

Acts as Engineering point of contact for facility internal customers:

• Provide technical assistance as required
• Attend facility leadership meetings
• Provides project management and expertise for all capital projects:
• Identifies, creates, and submits necessary documents for CAPEX approval
• Review Capital Projects Contracts
• Create POs (Purchase Orders) for Capital Projects
• Coordinate and lead multi-functional teams within the project
• Track and manage Capital and Project Expense
• Schedules, directs, and inspects the work of contractors/vendors
• Reports on progress and conformance to project work plans
• Manages project schedules, budgets and cashflows
• Demonstrate proficiency for Danone Engineering Standards
• Responds to emergency calls, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Office machinery including: computers/tablets, printers, fax machines, copiers, telephones, etc.
• Software including:
  Microsoft Office including Outlook, SAP, Smartsheets
