Senior Staff Accountant

Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $/yr

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Staff Accountant to join our healthcare manufacturing company. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting duties, including deferred revenue processes, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, ad hoc reporting, audits, fixed assets, construction in progress (CIP) schedules, month‑end, payroll accrual, general accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and implementing and maintaining ASC‑606 compliant revenue.

Familiarity with billing, collections, ERP systems, and software such as Sage Intacct, Oracle, and Epicor would be a significant advantage. The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing deferred revenue processes and revenue recognition in compliance with GAAP and ASC‑606.
• Managing accounts receivable, billing, and collections to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Preparing ad hoc reports and conducting audits as required.
• Maintaining fixed assets and construction in progress (CIP) schedules.
• Coordinating month‑end closing processes and preparing financial statements.
• Managing payroll accruals and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Implementing and maintaining ASC‑606 compliant revenue processes.
• Assisting in the maintenance and optimization of ERP systems.
• Preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Collaborating with other team members to improve financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Possesses extensive knowledge of GAAP and ASC‑606, as well as experience with deferred revenue processes and revenue recognition.
• Has proven experience with accounts receivable, billing, and collections.
• Is proficient in using ERP systems; experience with Sage Intacct and Oracle is highly desirable.
• Has experience with Epicor, although this is not a mandatory requirement.
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare clear, concise financial reports.
• Is detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is a self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
