Interm Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• General Ledger Management:
  Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. Prepare journal entries, review account activity, and troubleshoot discrepancies to ensure a smooth month-end and year-end closing process.
• Financial Reporting:
  Prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Audit Coordination:
  Assist with internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and implementing audit recommendations to strengthen controls and compliance.
• Tax Compliance:
  Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns, including corporate, payroll, and sales taxes. Research and interpret tax regulations, liaise with tax advisors, and support tax planning initiatives.
• Account Reconciliations:
  Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of accounts, including bank reconciliations and subsidiary ledgers. Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, spot trends, and make logical recommendations.
• Experience with tax and compliance is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple important tasks and complete timely and accurately
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

• Proactive approach to identifying and solving accounting and financial issues.
• Willingness to embrace change, acquire new skills, and adapt to evolving business needs and technologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and driving initiatives to completion
• Knowledge of  and Ramp is a plus
