Haalufa USA, Inc., is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented professional to fill a Document Scanning Technician Position in the DMV Area – District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. The Scanning Technician will ensure the accurate and efficient capture, storage, and retrieval of electronic documents, and utilize specialized equipment and software to scan, index, and store documents in a digital format that can be easily accessed and shared.

Daily tasks include:
  • Meticulously follows our client’s established quality control guidelines to ensure scanning accuracy and integrity or personnel documents.
  • Stores and retrieves files for review authorized persons and logs files using automated check-out system.
  • Transfers inactive physical files to offsite storage facility in compliance with Client’s established Human Resource record retention schedule and guidelines.
  • Requests archived files from offsite storage facility when requested by authorized persons.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
Work Experience:
  • Entry Level;
    One (1) year of experience working in a high-volume sensitive records environment, including records storage and retrieval and electronic scanning.

About this position – Standard hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one (1) hour unpaid lunch break. However, the COTR may request temporary services for periods in excess of a seven and one half (7.5) hour day or a thirty-seven and one-half hour (37.5) hour week. Temporary personnel working six (6) hours or more are required to take a one-half hour unpaid lunch break.

Overtime:
Hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in one week is considered as overtime work, all overtime must be approved by the COTR in advance.
