Administrator Receptionist Surgery Hillingdon in Middlesex

Administrator/Receptionist urgently required for a busy GP surgery in Hillingdon.

Dream Medical are looking for an Administrator/Receptionist for a busy surgery close to Hillingdon to work up to 30 hours per week.

You will be required to offer general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone, receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.

• Have a thorough knowledge of all Practice procedures, including experience with Emis Web and Docman.
• Work in accordance with written protocols, filing post in medical records, photocopying as requested, ensuring courier takes all documentation and samples at the appropriate time, opening and distributing incoming mail.
• Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients, care homes, and any other visitors to the practice.
• Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures, and make new and follow-up appointments.
• Process appointment requests for today and future appointments from patients by telephone and in person.
