We are looking for automotive service managers to manage and direct all service department activities of a retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services. This position is a Store Manager developmental role. Midas is committed to training our associates and promoting from within the organization.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Midas automotive service manager, you will manage and lead all automotive service technicians in the operation of the shop, including:
- Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers
- Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
- Deliver complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
- Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
- Supervise up to ten employees
- Maintain inventory counts
- Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
- Other duties as assigned
- A minimum of 2 years of service advisor or service manager experience
- General automotive knowledge
- Leadership ability
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

I started working as a entry-level Oil Changer just to get my foot in the door and I showed them what I can do. Within 2.5 years I was the Assistant General Manager for the company and the northern store's General Manager.
