Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is looking for a Sample Custodian in Stafford, TX.

• Assist in overseeing all aspects of shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and logging samples.
• Prepare samples from processing.
• Accept and sign for deliveries.
• Assist in unloading shipments from delivery truck.
• Use dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around Sample Receiving area.
• Open coolers and inspect contents of shipments; check documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for.
• Distribute samples in different departments as appropriate.
• Follow strict safety and quality control procedures.
• Store, restock, and shelve samples as necessary.
• Ensure the work area is clean and organized.
• Enter records in LIMS system.
• Serve as a backup driver as needed.

• Clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service oriented.
• Good oral and written English language skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to move around, stand for long periods, sit for long periods, squat and lift containers up to 50 pounds.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Position Type: Part-time – Tuesday to Friday from 4 pm to 1 am. Training will take place Tuesday and Thursday at 8 am to 1 pm, and Wednesday and Friday start at 4 pm.

Compensation: $20 per hour. Candidates within a commutable distance to Stafford, TX are encouraged to apply. Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes; the actual base salary may vary based upon relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
