Childcare Floater​/Teacher Aide

A+ Childcare and Learning Center is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters/Teacher Aides to support the following age groups:

• All Ages

To be QUALIFIED for this position, a high school diploma or GED is required along with the ability to pass all background checks. Six months of experience in a childcare setting is preferred.

Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 6:00pm

$14-16 an hour, based on education and experience

• Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
