Super Structures GC INC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, industrial, and government construction projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers and the business development team to ensure competitive and comprehensive bids. A strong understanding of market pricing, value engineering, and the metallic building industry is key to success in this role.

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects across all sectors.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and scope information.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
• Collaborate with project management and sales teams to align estimates with client expectations and project goals.
• Update and maintain a database of historical cost data and current market pricing.
• Assist in bid preparation, proposals, and presentations.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Provide post-bid support and clarification to clients and internal teams.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating.
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, materials, and methods, especially in the metallic building industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Proficient in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to lift 50lb.
• Must be able to walk up 3 flights of stairs.
