Job Description
Pile Buck Position
A marine/heavy-civil construction company currently seeking a Pile Buck with 5+ years of experience with pile driving timber piles, sheet piles, concrete pile, h-piles.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Drive all types of piles for building foundations, cofferdams, piers, and bridges using heavy equipment with a pile driver head.
- Operate impact hammers and position leads for pile placement.
- Operate vibratory hammers and rigging for steel sheet pile.
- Provide support for crane activities and pile deliveries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Certified Welder a Plus
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Pile Buck in the marine/heavy-civil construction industry.
- Valid Driver License
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to perform layout and determine elevations a plus.
