Reporter

Bridge Tower Media is seeking an experienced, digitally savvy Reporter who can work with a strong team to create quality journalism.

Note:
This is a remote role, but the candidate must be based in the state of Virginia in order to attend local events.

• 2+ years of journalism experience or related field
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with a B2B product experience is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Comfort with public speaking
• Ability to build strong relationships with key legal leaders throughout the state
• Reliable home internet connection with minimum 50mbps up/10mbps down
• Reliable transportation

• Report on and write news and feature stories for the company's legal publications
• Attend and cover appropriate legal events
• Develop innovative ideas for writing legal news
• Stay up to date on the latest legal news and events
• Research legal stories and prepare interview questions as required
• Discuss and develop ideas to write strong and sophisticated stories to attract readers
• Research, write and submit stories within established timelines
• Write legal stories in unique and interesting ways to increase readership
