Job Description

Objectives: To warmly greet members and guests during overnight shifts, assist with questions, provide information, and ensure a pleasant visit. Available to work overnight shifts, including Sunday-Thursday nights from 10pm to 6am.

Reports to: Front Desk Manager

Responsibilities:

• Arrive 5-10 minutes early to read and sign the communication log.
• Dress appropriately, including wearing a nametag.
• Clock in using your employee number.
• Greet members and guests warmly by name upon entry.
• Understand and enforce guest policies.
• Monitor check-ins by verifying membership cards and photo IDs.
• Administer the "UPS" system for membership directors.
• Answer phones within three rings, direct calls, and take detailed messages.
• Record reservations with name and phone number, initial the entry.
• Manage sign-up sheets for classes, such as the Strong class, up to one hour in advance.
• Attend mandatory monthly meetings.
• Collect and log fees, issue receipts, and secure payments in the safe.
• Open and close the club according to duty lists.
• Inform members of upcoming activities, promotions, and policy changes.
• Maintain a clean and attractive front desk area.
• Prepare new member packets and status forms.
