DescriptionThe Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks an open‑rank Cognitive Behavioral Neurologist. The successful candidate will care for patients with neurological disorders in the outpatient setting and may pursue a tenure‑eligible faculty position depending on training and experience. Candidates must have a strong interest in a career in academic medicine and meet the criteria established for the School of Medicine.

Location:
Charlottesville, Virginia, east of the Blue Ridge Mountains, 30 minutes from Shenandoah National Park and 100 miles south of Washington, DC. The campus offers a vibrant arts and music scene, nature, local wineries and breweries, and small‑town charm.

QualificationsCandidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, DO or another equivalent terminal degree, and be board‑certified or board‑eligible in Neurology at the time of hire. Specialized fellowship training in a related field is strongly preferred. Evidence of academic productivity is highly valued.
