PHYSICIAN - Urgent Care (0.6 – 1.0 FTE) – Virginia, MNBase Pay Range

$177.00/hr – $177.00/hr

• Seeking up to 1.0 FTE (benefits start at 0.6 FTE).
• Shift details: 1.0 FTE = 4 shifts/week, 0.8 FTE = 3 shifts/week, 0.6 FTE = 2‑3 shifts/week. Weekday shifts are 10‑11 hours; weekend shifts are 7‑8 hours.
• Calendar set 3‑6 months in advance.
• Urgent care open 9am‑7pm weekdays, 9am‑4pm weekends.
• No call, limited holidays, generally every 3rd weekend.
• Staffing/shift: 1 MD, 1 Credentialed Practitioner, 1 RN, 1–2 CAs.
• Patients seen per day: low number 35, high number 70.
• Excellent support from specialists and ancillary services.
• Collegial, experienced staff.
• Types of cases:
  Acute care walk‑in adults and pediatrics; respiratory illness; minor injuries including laceration repair, I&D, and foreign body removal; musculoskeletal injuries requiring radiology and splinting; non‑life‑threatening trauma; work comp.

• BC/BE in Family Practice or Emergency Medicine.
• Current BLS certification.

• Approx. 60 miles from Duluth, MN; 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
• Service area: 30,000 residents;
  Virginia population: 9,000.

• $177.34 per hour. Hired candidates may receive additional compensation through bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based compensation.
