Position within the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine (tenure eligible). Responsibilities include providing child psychiatric clinical services within the Medical Center and to children and adolescents in the region served by UVA, including inpatient consultation liaison, emergency department, outpatient, and telepsychiatry services.
Responsibilities- Provide child psychiatric clinical services to patients in the UVA Medical Center and surrounding region.
- Deliver inpatient consultation liaison, emergency room, outpatient, and telepsychiatry care as needed.
- Supervise and train psychiatry residents, child and adolescent psychiatry fellows, and medical students.
- Cover faculty call nights and weekends in rotation with other faculty members.
- MD, DO, or equivalent with board‑eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the start of the position.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical care, academic psychiatry, teaching, and research.
- Ability to provide services in person and cover faculty call rotations.
