Pediatric Radiologist

Role Overview

The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia (UVA) seeks a full-time or part-time, CAQ eligible/certified Pediatric Radiologist to join its pediatric radiology division and complement its busy diagnostic and procedural services.

• Provide clinical pediatric radiology services, including diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures.

• Mentor faculty, residents, and medical students in the ACGME‑approved pediatric radiology fellowship and diagnostic/interventional radiology residency programs.

• Participate in the academic mission through teaching and scholarly activities.

• Support the pediatric outpatient facility, the Battle Building, and modalities at the main hospital.

• Collaborate closely with pediatric subspecialty colleagues and coordinate care with UVA Children’s Hospital.

Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent degree, be certified in Pediatric Radiology or eligible to obtain certification, and be eligible for Virginia State Medical Licensure. Clinical expertise in pediatric imaging (including fluoroscopy but not IR procedures) and a commitment to the academic mission are essential. Ranks considered:
