Lung Transplant Pulmonologist – Assistant/Associate Professor

The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure‑ineligible clinical faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, with a subspecialty focus on lung transplant.

• Participate in the lung transplant practice and devote effort to programmatic development and outreach.
• Provide care of lung transplant patients, including initial evaluation, pre‑transplant care, and post‑transplant careli>
• Actively participate in teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.

• MD or equivalent.
• Board certified/board eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine by appointment date.
• Completed a lung transplant fellowship program or possess sufficient clinical training and experience in lung transplantation.
• Experience in all aspects of medical management of lung transplant patients, including critical‑care post‑operative management, bronchoscopy with proficiency in lavage and transbronchial biopsy.
• Highly collaborative team member.
