PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Our ideal candidate is a motivated, team-player that is interested in helping us build a combined FP & OB/GYN team to cover needs at our Virginia, MN, regional, medical complex.

• Approximately 250 births (annually) at Essentia Health, Virginia, Hospital

• Virginia Hospital is “Baby Friendly”

• Remote fetal monitoring

• Family Medicine with surgical OB & OB’s provide back up for C sections

• Market leading pay & relocation offered. Substantial benefit package, minimum of 6 weeks off per year

• On-site Chronic Disease Management nursing support

• Nurse Online Triage 24/7

• Multi-specialty clinic includes: 9 Family Medicine with 4 advanced practitioners with Integrated Behavioral Health, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Occupational Medicine, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and visiting specialties

• Clinic, includes: laboratory, radiology, retail pharmacy and optical shop, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, Cancer Center, Regional Heart Center with CHF clinic, and warfarin clinic

• Admit to adjacent Essentia Health Virginia Hospital: 30 beds, Level I Nursery, Level IV Trauma center and certified Stroke Ready facility

• Call required

• EPIC integrated with Essentia system

REQUIREMENTS

• BC/BE Family Practice Physician

• OB Required (C-sections required – Essentia Health offers an OB Fellowship!)

LOCATION

• Approx. 60 miles from Duluth, MN; 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul

• Service area: 30,000 – Virginia Population: 9,000

COMPENSATION

• $323,400. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation .
