The Covenant School, an independent Christian Liberal Arts & Sciences school in Charlottesville, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic educator to teach sixth-grade math for the 2025-26 school year. Our school, which serves over 750 students from Pre-K through Grade 12, is a gospel-centered community of faith and learning, rooted in the Western Liberal Arts tradition, and focused on the formation of the whole person—mind, body, and soul.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, coupled with a deep commitment to Christian education and the Liberal Arts tradition. They should be passionate about working with adolescents, able to connect with them on a personal level, and dedicated to fostering their holistic development as individuals created in the image of God. The candidate must be capable of inspiring a love of learning in students and cultivating their critical thinking skills.
Additionally, they should have a genuine enthusiasm for professional growth, academic excellence, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our team of middle school faculty.
