Job Summary /Basic FunctionsThis Admissions Counselor position is responsible for recruiting qualified undergraduate out-of-state and in-state students to the University by developing and implementing data-driven strategies, conducting market analysis, and using predictive modeling to guide outreach. This role serves as a primary liaison to school counselors and community organizations while building strong relationships with prospective students and their families throughout the college search process.
The counselor manages an assigned territory through a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring consistent follow-up with inquiries, applicants, and admitted students. Communication takes place across multiple platforms, including phone, email, written correspondence, social media, and presentations. The position also involves traveling to college fairs at the state, regional, and national levels, visiting high schools in designated markets, and participating in University-hosted recruitment events.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree preferred. - Experience:
One year of related work experience is required. Previous experience as an Admissions Counselor is preferred. - Licensure &
Certifications:
Valid state driver's license is required.
