Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) is a two-year public institution of higher education and one of 23 community colleges in Virginia. The college is supported by the Commonwealth of Virginia; the counties of Alleghany, Bath, Botetourt (northern portion) and Rockbridge; the cities of Buena Vista, Covington, and Lexington; and the town of Clifton Forge. • Teach Health 100 in accordance with the approved course syllabus and learning outcomes
• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, discussions, and instructional activities
• Assess student learning through assignments, exams, and other evaluation methods
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and grades
• Provide timely feedback to students and support student success
• Hold office hours or provide availability for student consultation
• Comply with all College policies, procedures, and accreditation standards

• EMT certification and CPR Instructor Certified
• 2+ years of experience in EMS education or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• 1-year teaching experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to travel
