Job Description

Established in 1970, SVCC is one of the 23 colleges in the Virginia Community College System. The Christanna Campus near Alberta and the John H. The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Associate degrees.

SVCC is dedicated to the belief that all citizens should be given an opportunity to acquire an educational foundation which develops and extends their skills and knowledge. The college's goal is to provide diverse instructional programs ranging from developmental studies to associate degree curricula in academic, technical, and lifelong education. Through various activities, students will also have the opportunity to develop their roles and responsibilities as participants in a changing society.

Southside Virginia Community College, a comprehensive community college, is seeking adjunct faculty with Master’s level coursework in English for our Campus Within Walls program. • State Farm Correctional Center
  • * Others may be available
