They will establish and maintain a training program and ensure minimum proficiency requirements. They shall maintain current training records on all personnel.

Responsibilities- Provide instructor services which include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting classes on time
- Providing academic instruction IAW the POI of the courses assigned
- Preparing class schedules, grading tests and practical exercises
- Providing remedial assistance when required
- Providing additional training to students when requested
- Administering End of Course critiques.
- Perform classroom reset which includes having all training aids ready for each block of instruction, having system computers powered on and checking with the blackboard administrator to insure the class has been built in the system.
- Review POI and Lesson Plans to remedy any deficiencies or shortcomings that they have identified during the preparation for and conduct of instruction.
- Edit and make red-line changes to the POI and lesson plans and submit to the COR within 30 calendar days from identifying the deficiencies or shortcomings.
- Review the Individual Student Assessment Plan (ISAP) with the students IAW TRADOC Reg 350- 18 and have each student sign the plan.
- Receive a class roster from the COR at 0730 on the class start date; and have each student verify the information on the class roster, make corrections if necessary and have the student initial the roster.
- Email a copy of the class roster and ISAP to the COR NLT 10:30 a.m.ET on the start date of class.
- Monitor students at all times, evaluate student performance, prepare and forward required student counseling documentation to the COR IAW course policy the next business day after the student counseling is performed.
- Attend TC AIMS II software update training to maintain current technical competency with the deployment automation systems of the Contractor personnel’s assigned course ensuring that classroom instruction remains relevant.
- Maintain full technical competency on rapidly updated automated systems and apply emerging tactics, techniques and procedures associated to Army doctrine change or CALL updates to formal courseware.
- Perform services alongside Government personnel to provide remediation training, maintain classrooms by re-configuring/setting up classroom furnishings, sort and maintain training aides and equipment, stock training materials and equipment, and/or assist with outdoor training site maintenance.
Skills and Abilities
- Qualified based on instructor certification requirements as outlined in Training and Doctrine command (TRADOC) Regulation 350-70.
- Completed the Common Faculty Development – Instructor Course (CFD-IC) within the last five (5) years IAW TR 350-70 OR ability to complete CFD-IC and shall complete it at the first available Government scheduled course.
- Previously held a position as a Military or Civilian facilitator or instructor in a military service environment for at least one (1) year.
- Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook).
- One (1) year of college.
- Knowledge of UMODP as evidenced by a minimum of three (3) years of experience with UMODPC and; two (2) years of experience using the automated deployment systems (TC-AIM II, ICODES, GATES-Surface and RDID/AIT) as evidenced by course completion certificates, DD 214 or course transcripts.
- Course completion certificate from the UMODP course or must be able to take the course and pass the course scoring 90% or higher on all exams IAW the USATSCH Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
