Work Schedule
This full-time, exempt position works 40 hours per week and provides services primarily in person. Standard operational hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential for a modified summer schedule based on business needs. The role also includes travel throughout PVCC’s service region and occasional evening and weekend work to support outreach, recruitment, and college events.

Piedmont Virginia Community College ( PVCC ) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia – principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. Purpose:
Outreach & Admissions Coaches provide targeted, data-informed outreach to recruit potential students across the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson. Coaches guide prospective students from their initial interest through enrollment, ensuring equitable access to postsecondary education and training. By delivering essential orientation and onboarding, coaches build a strong foundation that supports student success through the completion of a degree, certificate, or short-term training program.
Outreach and recruitment efforts take place on campus, in the community, and virtually to meet students where they are.
