- Work with planning on WO reviews and compliance with associated DC's.
- Ensure field teams (32 IBEW Journeymen) have correct documentation or construction aids to perform work.
- Provide technical oversight in the field to ensure quality is in accordance with station procedures or design.
- Review schedules and plans for correct tasks, durations and resources needed.
- Ensure materials or tooling are available for upcoming activities (AVR and Gen Relay upgrade at Surry currently in process).
- Conduct running and cable pulling of medium to low voltage.
- Panel wiring and replacement in the shop or field Emergency Switchgear Room.
- Communicate with engineering team members and engineering manager to maintain the engineering scope work breakdown structure.
- Communicate changes/updates from the engineering team to other project groups (i.e. scheduling, project controls, construction).
- Organize meetings (internal or client) as required by the engineering team and develop meeting minutes.
- Report on action items from engineering meetings for input to the action items register.
- Coordinate requests for information to vendors/client as identified by the engineering team.
- Act as project management and construction management support role.
- Support weld engineering, quality control, logistics, with site field activities.
- Act as the site interface between the client and Aecon site management.
- Electrical Engineering Degree.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team.
- Organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task/service oriented.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
