Amentum is seeking a part‑time EMC Engineer to perform Test, Evaluation, Integration, and configuration of C5
ISR systems.
Responsibilities Include:
- Developing detailed EMI/EMC test plans
- Participating in EMI/EMC test planning meetings and test readiness reviews
- Perform EMI/EMC testing gather, reduce, and analyze resulting data
- Prepare and publish detailed EMI/EMC test reports
- Review technical documentation and technical meeting support.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an electrical engineering with an RF focus or Physics with an emphasis in electromagnetic interference (EMI), electric field propagation, and/or electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Eight (8) years of demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to electromagnetics.
- Seven (7) years of experience in Research, Development, Test, Engineering, or Integration related to warfare systems or electronic systems.
- Demonstrated experience in theoretical and practical aspects of research, development, test, engineering, or integration of Navy RF sensors and systems and with one or more of the following topside: E3; EMI/EMC testing; EMI problem investigation;
Spectrum; EMI/EMC analysis and assessment; EMI Control and Mitigation; MATLAB programming; proficiency in use of RF equipment (spectrum analyzer, real‑time spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, network analyzer, etc.). - Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance.
Note:
US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
