**** The Opportunity
** Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
** How You'll Make an Impact
*** Perform mechanical work in electrical substations.
* Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify issues.
* Service, repair, and adjust mechanical equipment.
* Analyze information to select the best solutions for customer issues.
* Engage in physical activities requiring dexterity and agility.
* Use computer software to manage site visit data.
* Operate and maintain Vacuum Oil Processors (VOPs) and oil handling equipment.
* Complete vacuum oil processing logs and support site transformer testers.
** Your Background
*** High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of professional work experience.
* Possession of a Class A CDL is a plus.
* Welding experience is a plus.
* Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 85%.
* Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions.
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand, stoop, bend, and walk for up to 12 hours per day.
* Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
