Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Project Engineer and or Designer to join our team in our Gretna, Virginia office. The Project Engineer will be responsible for preparing designs, plans, and specifications for municipal and land development projects. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual to make a positive impact on people and communities through their expertise. We are seeking a self-starter who is willing to take initiative and isn’t afraid to ask questions and who is responsive to others.

The successful candidate will be someone who can work diligently to meet project deadlines and collaborate effectively with team members. This individual must work well with minimal supervision. Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited undergraduate academic institution is required.
  • Possession of an EIT designation required, P.E. license preferred.
  • Ideally, candidates will have more than three years of professional experience in civil engineering.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in land development and stormwater design.
Responsibilities
  • Perform design analyses and calculations using project-related software for hydraulics, hydrology, and land development projects.
  • Utilize surveys, survey reports, maps, drawings, and blueprints to complete designs promptly.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
