We are currently hiring a Traffic Engineer to work in our Dulles, Va location. The ideal candidate will support our engineering team by performing traffic engineering tasks, operation analyses, safety analyses, signal design, signing and pavement markings, maintenance of traffic plans, tolling operations, and ITS.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or a similar field with Three (3) years of experience
• M.S. in Transportation Engineering
• Be capable of working on and coordinating simultaneous tasks and have ability to coordinate technical matters with public and private entities

• Work alongside an experienced Project Engineer and/or Project Manager to develop to support municipal and transportation infrastructure projects
• Design of signals, signs, pavement markings, and ITS.
• Perform drafting (2D and 3D) to support design activities to develop MOT phases and stages.
• Collaborate to Implement traffic management strategies.
• Complete traffic safety and operational improvement studies
• Provide analyses of traffic safety issues and crash reduction measures.
• complete signal optimization and timing plans

• EIT with ability to obtain PE
• Micro Station Open Roads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
• Experience in using GIS
• Experience in Synchro, Sidra, Vissim or related software

$80K to $110K
