Low Volume - Industrial Cooling Systems Manufacturing

1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances and customer concerns.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement inspection procedures, testing protocols, and quality control plans.
• Conduct audits to identify risks and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Support new product launches by validating quality requirements.
• Train production staff on quality best practices and problem-solving techniques.
• Apply statistical tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC) to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality metrics, defects, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant regulatory standards.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, or strong internship/co‑op background.
• Proficiency with problem‑solving tools such as 8D, FMEA, RCCA, and Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Familiarity with GD&T, measurement tools, and blueprint interpretation.
• Hands‑on experience with manufacturing processes such as welding, brazing, assembly, and testing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
• Ability to analyze data using statistical software (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, on‑the‑floor environment.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
