. In this role, you will support impactful projects that make a difference for our country.
- Be a strategic and technical leader in Power Platform.
- Define and manage technical strategy on Power Platform projects and effectively communicate that strategy to leadership and project teams.
- Possess passion for knowledge of the breadth and depth of the ever‑evolving Power Platform ecosystem, and deploy that deep understanding in challenging thought work with clients (e.g., Power Platform visioning, strategy development, governance, relationship management, etc.).
- Facilitate cross‑area, integrated project strategies and executions with other teams, e.g., cloud engineering, modern workplace, development, security and compliance teams.
- Champion Power Platform’s citizen developer culture by fluently connecting the division’s Power Platform work with IT transformation and organizational change management factors and teams.
- Identify gaps and proactively coach division and project team members to keep our Power Platform approaches current and effective.
- Collaborate and share knowledge across divisions of Planet Technologies to deepen our practice in this area.
- Must be able and willing to work within Pacific or Mountain time zones.
- Meets with clients in discovery, planning/design, and training/enablement contexts.
- Can perform as well as facilitate others in the design, development, and implementation of solutions.
- Engages in solution envisioning and requirements analysis, including fit/gap analysis.
- Handles security strategy, compliance strategy, data migration strategy, and application lifecycle management.
- Develops using out‑of‑the‑box product features, custom development, and/or third‑party tools.
- Performs tasks across the full development lifecycle: discovery, planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Creates solutions that balance best practice with client requirements, preferences, and needs.
- Produces clear and accurate documentation.
- 5–7+ years of experience, including Power Platform development and consulting contexts.
- Takes responsibility for a team’s technical delivery, regardless of personally performing the technical work.
- Naturally identifies gaps and coaches project team members without being asked.
- Comfortable delegating tasks and can do so appropriately.
- Communicates effectively when technical activities or needs evolve on a project.
- Understands risk and can effectively identify and elevate risk.
- Demonstrated ability to hold a vision and advocate for the types of work and approaches a team or technical area should be doing.
- Demonstrated ability to generate and communicate opinions to management on staffing, staff development, technical resources, and other factors needed for a team or technical area to succeed.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Handles constantly changing conditions with calm confidence.
- High level of initiative and accountability for deliverables and deadlines.
- Knows that developing heads‑down is ideal, but can still operate effectively when consulting conditions become reasonably chaotic.
