We have an exciting new opportunity for a Reliability Engineer in the North Richmond, Virginia area! Here you can propose and maintain predictive and preventive equipment maintenance programs in the maintenance management system for a global papermill manufacturing company.

• Define standard processes and tools to handle defects and ensure proper execution to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Lead Breakdown Elimination efforts through structured problem-solving
• Partner with operators to ensure defects are resolved and breakdowns are prevented
• Determine and prioritize planned maintenance needs, scheduling accordingly
• Share best practices across Reliability Leads to foster continuous improvement
• Maintain strong communication with the maintenance department to align priorities
• Continuously improve maintenance processes including Defect Handling and Breakdown Elimination
• Reduce negative impacts on machine reliability through proactive strategies

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or other related degree or related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance, reliability, or engineering in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Experience in the paper industry highly desirable, especially with pulping equipment and processes
