Land Development Engineering Technician – Overview

Position OverviewThis is a remote opportunity open to candidates residing in most U.S. states. Candidates willing to relocate may indicate it in the application.

Responsibilities- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D for analysis and design of roadways, trails, sidewalks, water mains, sanitary and storm‑sewer systems, and site improvements.
- Use Microsoft Excel to develop project bid item tables, quantities, and cost opinions.
- Prepare construction plans, specifications, site plans, grading and drainage plans, studies, and reports for a wide range of public and private infrastructure systems.
- Learn new design techniques and construction capabilities to provide innovative solutions to clients.
- Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
- Experience working in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Background in civil, municipal, or land‑development projects (preferred).
- Experience reviewing project plans and cost estimates.
- Previous stormwater project experience.
- Residence in North Carolina.
Competitive pay ranging from $38 to $48 per hour based on skill set and experience.
