Substation Senior Civil​/Structural Engineer

Perform design reviews of substation structure design, rigid bus design, foundation design, oil spill containment design, retaining walls and firewalls in support of bid/construction packages for substation projects. Lead projects as a senior engineer, develop junior staff members, conduct site‑visits to client substation facilities and travel for client meetings and industry‑related events.

• PE License Required in California, Washington, Oregon – or ability to obtain licensure in these states within 3‑12 months.
• SE licensure is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint & MATHCAD software, required.
• Experience with RISA 3‑D, FAD, SAG
  10, and LPILE software, required.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Micro Station, required.
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
• Team player with ability to communicate with clients and staff.

Portland, OR (remote candidates located in the western region of the U.S. will be considered. Remote preference is for candidates to reside in either Pacific or Mountain time zone).
