Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on industrial robotic systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
- Execute repairs, replace faulty components, and restore robot functionality to minimize downtime.
- Calibrate robot arms, end‑effectors, and sensors for precision and accuracy.
- Program and adjust robot paths, speeds, and I/O using teach pendants and HMI.
- Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new robotic equipment.
- Document maintenance activities, repair procedures, and system modifications.
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering technology.
- Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB) and PLCs.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including experience with sensors, motors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) for advanced integration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robotic guidance or inspection.
- Familiarity with robot simulation software (e.g., Roboguide, Process Simulate) for offline programming.
- Basic understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, PROFINET) and troubleshooting.
