• Designing plumbing systems primarily for healthcare and restaurant projects.
• Coordinating designs with electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, and architectural designers.
• Presenting your system designs to clients, including architects and owners.
• Being involved in the entire project life cycle, from concept to commissioning.
• Providing documentation for your designs using tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel.
• Working with contractors to implement your designs, including responding to Requests for Information and Submittals.
• Travelling to and surveying existing conditions during design and construction project phases. Many project sites are in Virginia, DC, and Maryland. However, we have many project sites in all regions of the United States. On-site work would be approximately 1-2 times per month maximum; most months would require no travel.

• 5-10 years' experience in plumbing engineering/design or hands-on plumbing contracting experience
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit
• A drive to grow themselves throughout their career
• Excellent communication skills
• Time and task management skills to handle multiple projects independently
• Ability to mentor and train junior engineers
• The ability to learn new information and implement it on current and future projects
