Job Title- Aircraft Cabin Cleaner
- Hourly: $17.13
- Frequency: weekly
- Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
- Full-Time, Non-Exempt
- 09:30 PM - 05:30 AM (RON Shift)
- Must be willing to work Saturdays, Sundays, and three weekdays for five consecutive days.
Note:
Onboarding may take up to four weeks. Shift assignments are based on business needs and availability at the time of onboarding completion. While we strive to accommodate preferred shifts, availability cannot be guaranteed. Your flexibility will be appreciated.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including a ten-year work history if available.
- Must be able to communicate in basic English.
- Must be able to use computers for training.
- 1 year of similar work experience.
Responsible for the overall appearance, safety, and security of the aircraft.
Specific Duties / Essential Job Functions- Clean all areas of the aircraft:
- Crew rest and bunk areas
- Lavatories
- Galleys
- Cabin area
- Provisioning:
- Correct safety card placed in each seatback.
- Linens and headsets properly provisioned.
- Ensure all areas free of debris.
- Security searches as required.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- May be required to stand and walk for 2/3 or more of the work shift.
- May be required to talk, hear, handle, bend, and/or crawl for 2/3 or more of the work shift.
- May be required to lift 50 pounds or more for up to 2/3 of the work shift.
- Moderate to high noise level.
- Communicate effectively in English.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Present information and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Always wear appropriate uniform and badge/.
- Comply with guidelines in ABM Aviation Standards of Employment.
- Comply with uniform and grooming standards and wear SIDA badge/.
- Comply with all guidelines and policies in ABM Aviation Employee Handbook, including zero tolerance discrimination and harassment policy, retaliation policy, ethics policy, security policy.
- Comply with regulatory agency requirements (ADA, ACAA, DOT, TSA, FAA, and other authorities).
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous aviation, aircraft appearance, or cleaning experience preferred.
