Temporary Finance Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a Temporary Finance Assistant to support our Finance Department during year-end close and an upcoming audit. This part-time, remote role will focus on audit preparation, financial documentation, and general finance support. The assignment is expected to last approximately three months, with the potential to extend based on audit needs.

This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of accounting who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a support capacity.

• Locate, organize, and prepare financial files and documentation for audit requests
• Run reports and assist with audit preparation and submission
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Assist the Finance team with year-end close activities
• Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records
• Provide light administrative support as needed

• Basic understanding of accounting principles, including AP and AR
• Previous experience in a finance, accounting, or administrative support role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Clear communicator who is comfortable asking clarifying questions
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Able to manage deadlines in a part-time, remote environment

$24/hour
~10 hours per week (potential to increase to ~15 hours/week)
